Responsibilities:
- Direct the international expansion project timeline. Set the project milestones and cross functional roles and responsibilities, identify the resource needs provided by the home office teams and generate progress reorts.
- Lead and advise a set of cross-functional specialists and processes, including legal, tax, accounting, treasury, infrastructure to drive the global expansion process
- Drive teamwork and communication within direct areas of responsibilities to perform international markets related tasks
- Performs negotiations with external partners.
- Work closely with management and executive teams to develop and execute operational plans
- Contribute to the hiring process of staff in a particular region
- Evaluate contemporary political, social, and cultural issues from a private-sector viewpoint
Qualifications and skills:
- Proven 2+ years experience in Project Manager, HR or similar roles
- Proven experience in international relocation or expansion
- Excellent verbal and written English required, any other languages are a plus
- General understanding of financial systems, business process workflows, tax reporting, legal risks, and technical accounting peculiarities
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate and connect meaningfully with a variety of personalities and cultures.
- Ability to approach challenging issues and propose and implement solutions.
- International experience living/working abroad a plus
